Before They Have to Ask

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

The short version. We ask for your name and email so we can send you the planning guide and a handful of follow-up notes. We do not sell your information, we do not share it, and we do not call you. You can leave at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, and that is the end of it.

Who we are

Before They Have to Ask is a free planning guide created by Michelle Tarver, Managing Partner at Fuller Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Naples, Florida. This website is operated in connection with that guide. Questions about it can go to [email protected].

What we collect

If you request a copy of the guide, we collect what you type into the form:

We also collect ordinary, anonymous website statistics — how many people visited a page, and roughly where they came from. This is not tied to your name.

What we do with it

What we will never do

Who else touches your information

Two services help us operate, and both are bound to use your data only to provide their service:

If we advertise on Facebook or Instagram, Meta may set a cookie that lets us show a follow-up advertisement to people who visited this page. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out of that in your Facebook ad settings, or by using your browser's tracking controls.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to stop, or until an email address has been inactive for two years, at which point we remove it.

Leaving, and getting your data

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are removed; nothing further is sent and nobody follows up to ask why.

You can also write to [email protected] at any time and ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. We will do it, and we will not ask you to justify the request.

Children

This guide is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in an email rather than quietly updating the page.
